This creates a dialogue of forms that gradually leads to a visual agreement between the parts through a continuous listening process. ︎ The goal of the game is to create arrangements that formally respond to each other.&nbsp; ︎In each game session, a maximum of four players can participate. WHAT YOU NEED IN ORDER TO PLAY: A stable Wi-Fi connection. Zoom Meetings video conference platform (Click here to download). One of the following:A laptop computer with a webcam;A tablet;A desktop computer with a mobile webcam;A computer and a smartphone to be used as a webcam. [In this case, to turn your phone into a webcam you need to download any of the several free apps that you find online like Iriun or DroidCam. Once the App is installed, Zoom will give you the possibility to choose your smartphone as a webcam]. ︎︎︎&nbsp;Tips and tricks: Before starting the game, try out the medium you have chosen to use: &nbsp; ︎ Frame a flat surface (such as the floor or table) on which you will place the objects. ︎ Make sure you have adequate lighting with an even exposure. GAME INSTRUCTIONS: 1. You will be invited by an email from the Host with a set day and time for the meeting and a link to access the video call. 2. The Host will welcome you into the video call and will guide you with the correct positioning of your device so that your webcam will record a clean horizontal surface as wide as possible (it could be a floor or table). Remember that your device has to remain steady for the entire duration of the game. Changes in the frame may disturb the course of the game. 3. The Host will start the game and will mute the sound of the participants. For the duration of the video call, the audio will be muted and verbal communication is not allowed. If you have any questions or doubts, ask them before the start of the game. 4. Do not prepare any items beforehand. Everything will and should happen during the game. Just use the objects around you. &nbsp; 5.The game is not played in turns, but by collaborating simultaneously in the construction of compositions which evoke each other through visual rhymes. Each player is free to start by placing one or more objects. Take the initiative and place them in the frame and at the same time, remind yourself to observe what the others are doing. Try to use similar objects in shape, color, material, position in space, or more of these features together. 6.During the game, watch the participants’ screens. You can reposition or remove objects&nbsp;to harmonize&nbsp;your composition with the one of the others. The&nbsp;gestures&nbsp;and&nbsp;movements that are made by moving the objects are also important. 7.The game will last 20 minutes in total. When you hear the Host's voice announcing the time expiration, make the last changes to achieve the final composition. When all the players have concluded their compositions, wait for a couple of seconds and stay out of the frame. The Host's voice will then guide you through the end of the video call. We created a game that allowed us to communicate not with words, but through the use of objects in our everyday spaces. After years of experimentation through digital platforms, the game evolved and we decided to share it as a collective practice with anyone who wants to participate. The dialogue between the frames develops through a continuous listening and observation process between the participants, and gradually generates a visual agreement. The game allows the participants to train different skills involved in collaborative processes and brings out relational and communicative dynamics. The Focus Group with the collectives Propagazioni, Cicadas Rhyme, Pierre Dupont and the anthropologist Francesco Bravin, proposes a comparison between artistic, curatorial and anthropological practices regarding the field experience starting from the game Cicadas Rhyme. Prendi l’iniziativa e disponili nell’inquadratura e, allo stesso tempo, ricordati di osservare cosa stanno facendo gli altri.&nbsp;Prova a utilizzare oggetti simili per forma, colore, materiale, posizione nello spazio, o più di queste caratteristiche insieme. Questi sono i principi di base che garantiscono il corretto svolgimento del gioco. 6.Durante il gioco osserva le inquadrature dei partecipanti. Puoi riposizionare o rimuovere gli oggetti per armonizzare la tua composizione a quella degli altri. Anche i gesti e i movimenti che vengono fatti spostando gli oggetti sono importanti. 7. Il gioco durerà 20 minuti. Quando sentirai la voce dell'Host annunciare la scadenza del tempo, fai le ultime modifiche per raggiungere la composizione finale. Quando tutti i partecipanti avranno concluso, aspetta qualche secondo restando fuori dall'inquadratura. La voce dell'Host ti guiderà successivamente verso la fine della videochiamata. Abbiamo creato un gioco che ci permettesse di comunicare non con parole, ma tramite l’utilizzo degli oggetti presenti nei nostri spazi quotidiani. Dopo anni di esperimenti e prove, il gioco si è evoluto nella sua forma attuale ed&nbsp; è così che abbiamo deciso di condividerlo come pratica collettiva con chiunque voglia partecipare. Cicadas Rhyme è un esercizio utile per sviluppare capacità di ascolto e di dialogo non verbale all’interno di un gruppo, oltre che per esplorare modalità di improvvisazione e di risposta immediata a stimoli visivi. La piattaforma Cicadas Rhyme è sviluppata da Bianca Maria Fasiolo, Linda Vigiani e Annalisa Zegna. Tra i co-fondatori: Leonardo Mastromauro e Antonio Pipolo. Il pubblico è invitato a sperimentare Cicadas Rhyme, gioco di improvvisazione che si basa sulla comunicazione non verbale e che avviene per mezzo di una videochiamata. Ai partecipanti viene chiesto di utilizzare oggetti quotidiani per creare composizioni visive che si richiamino a vicenda per colore, forma e disposizione nello spazio. Il dialogo tra le inquadrature si sviluppa attraverso un continuo processo di ascolto e di osservazione tra i partecipanti, e genera gradualmente un accordo visivo. Il gioco permette di esercitare diverse facoltà implicate nei processi collaborativi e fa emergere dinamiche relazionali e comunicative. Il Focus Group con i collettivi Propagazioni, Cicadas Rhyme, Pierre Dupont e l’antropologo Francesco Bravin, propone un confronto tra pratiche artistiche, curatoriali e antropologiche sull’esperienza di campo a partire dal gioco Cicadas Rhyme. Tra i temi affrontati: il ruolo dell’empatia e della partecipazione, l’utilizzo di linguaggi visivi e non verbali, la restituzione delle esperienze.
